Ochiltree General Hospital
Hospice Tree of Life

The Mission of Hospice
The Mission of hospice is that when medical science can no longer add more days to life, we will help add more life to everyday.

Ochiltree General Hospital Hospice is a group of professionals and volunteers dedicated to sharing the last days, bringing dignity, compassion, and caring to the terminally ill patient and his or her family.

Ochiltree General Hospital Hospice was chartered in October of 1993.

About the Tree of Life
Each leaf on the golden tree of life represents a patient who was cared for by the Ochiltree General Hospital Hospice Program.

Each rock at the bottom of tree represents a special
honorarium or memorial donation.

How Can I Volunteer?
Established to provide a wide range of health care services in the comfort of the patient’s home, Hospice of OGH works to support patients and their families. As an affiliate of Ochiltree General, Hospice of OGH offers continuity of care from the hospital to the home coordinated and provided by compassionate well-trained professionals who focus on the patient’s specific needs.

Along with those services, Hospice of OGH is blessed with a group of volunteers who make themselves available to patients' families during their time of need allowing families to take care of needs outside their homes without worrying about their loved one while they are gone.
