April 7, 2020 – The Childers Siewert Clinic, DeWitt Family Practice, Dr. Rex L. Mann, Perryton Health Center and Teare Memorial Clinic would like to announce the addition of virtual visits in order to continue providing quality care to our community during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Your local hospital continues to actively monitor all updates from the Texas Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control in regard to COVID-19. Currently, there are no reported positive cases of COVID-19 in Ochiltree County.
Though all clinics remain open for in-person visits, virtual visits may be utilized in a variety of ways including screening patients who may be deemed higher risk for COVID-19 and those patients who are concerned about physically coming into the clinic at this time. Though not every visit can be done virtually, your providers will let you know whether you are a good candidate for a virtual visit or whether you will need to be seen in person.
Patients interested in conducting their medical appointment virtually will need to call their provider to set up an appointment and receive instructions on how to access their appointment. To contact your provider please call:
Childers Siewert Clinic – 806-435-6856
DeWitt Family Practice – 806-648-9355
Dr. Rex L. Mann – 806-435-7154
Perryton Health Center – 806-435-7224
Teare Memorial Clinic – 806-658-4531
All clinics will remain open during normal business hours with well visits from 8:00 a.m. to noon and all other visits taking place from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. In addition, the Perryton Health Center is still open for appointments Friday evening through Sunday with the exception that patients wishing to visit during extended hours need to call in advance to be screened for COVID-19.
Additionally, if you are a vulnerable and/or immunosuppressed patient needing to have labs drawn at Ochiltree General Hospital and you would feel more comfortable waiting in your vehicle, we are happy to accommodate you. Simply call the Main Hospital line at 806-435-3606 to make arrangements. Admissions staff will then come to your vehicle to complete any needed paperwork before a Laboratory staff member comes out to draw your sample.
