Lupe Cervantes Appointed as New Chief Nursing Officer at Ochiltree General Hospital
Perryton, TX – August 21, 2024 – Ochiltree General Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Lupe Cervantes, RN, as its new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Cervantes brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to patient care to this pivotal role.
A dedicated registered nurse with over 8.5 years of experience, Cervantes has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and clinical expertise. As a former Charge Nurse, she successfully managed nursing teams, ensuring optimal patient care delivery.

Cervantes holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from Seward County Community College and is a licensed Registered Nurse. Her career at OGH has been marked by a strong commitment to both patients and staff.
In her new role as CNO, Cervantes will oversee all nursing operations, ensuring the highest quality of patient care while fostering a positive and supportive work environment for the nursing team.
Originally from Perryton, TX, she relocated to Booker, TX with her husband of 16 years Rigo Cervantes. They have three children together. Cervantes says, “Working in my hometown allows me to give back to the community that supported and guided me during my youth.” Cervantes hopes in her new role as Chief Nursing Officer to implement impactful changes that enhance the organization’s operations and promote exceptional nursing staff within our community.
