OGH Announces Final Opportunity for Second-Dose Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccinations

April 14, 2021 – Ochiltree General Hospital will host one final opportunity for second-dose COVID-19 vaccinations to be held via pre-scheduled appointment at a to-be-determined date and location.

The COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic will be open to anyone who received their first vaccine at the previous COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic hosted by Ochiltree General and who were unable to receive their second dose at the follow-up Vaccination Clinic.

Patients are asked to contact OGH Quality Improvement Director Ashley Boyd, LVN, at

806-648-7932 in order to schedule their appointment.

Patients will need to bring the COVID-19 vaccination card they received at the first vaccination clinic in order to receive their second dose. Masks will be required for anyone attending the event.

Ochiltree General would like to offer our apologies to anyone who arrived to their scheduled appointment and did not receive a vaccine at the original second-dose vaccination clinic. Though our staff worked diligently to ensure all patients who arrived for their scheduled appointment received their vaccination, the large volume of patients who switched vaccination dates resulted in a shortage of vaccine.

Ochiltree General wants to assure anyone affected by the shortage that they will have access to a second dose provided they contact our staff to make one final appointment. We greatly appreciate your patience and kindness as we navigate this unprecedented healthcare event.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact OGH Quality Improvement Director Ashley Boyd, LVN, at 806-648-7932.
